There are 7 main energy centres in the body, known as chakras. Each chakra is linked to certain phyiscal parts of the body and governs certain emotional and mental strengths within us.  When we have a physical issue it is often linked to an emotional weakness in our behaviour, and when we release stale energy in that related chakra it can undo stress or tightness in that area. Clearing the energy can also balance our emotional state of mind, but it's also a two-way street in that if we have emotional blockages, these can be manifested by physical ailments.   By ensuring our chakras are balanced without stagnant energy, we can therefore improve our emotional and physical wellbeing.
